Signal Fire Studios is the brainchild of Jamie Chambers and Digger Hayes. Individually they represent years of writing, game design, and graphic design experience. Together they make a mighty team that can put out online and print products that combine great content with kick-ass presentation. We want our products to be fun to read and a blast to play!

Jamie

Jamie Chambers grew up in north Georgia and has come full circle after freezing his posterior off for nine years in Wisconsin in order to study at the feet of the old greats of the hobby games industry . When not writing long, run-on sentences, he is working on his latest game and fiction projects. He lives in the house he grew up in with his wife and three children.

Jamie has written games and fiction for Wizards of the Coast and other companies. He currently serves as Vice President on the board of directors for GAMA (Game Manufacturers Association) and is part of the eclectic group of writers, game designers, and poets known as the Alliterates.

Digger

Digger Hayes was destined to be a great athlete, with early triumphs on the basketball court and track field. But these dreams were smashed to pieces when Jamie Chambers walked into his life, introducing him to tabletop gaming, scifi movies, and other geeky pursuits. With his early ambitions destroyed, Digger decided to pursue his sedentary talents of print layout and graphic design-which he does in-between World of Warcraft guild raids.

Reanne

British-born and American-raised, Reanne Yancey enjoyed great success walking between two cultures — no, not Great Britain and the United States, the mainstream and the geek. She enjoyed comics and gaming while working a mundane job with a bright future ahead. That was until Jamie Chambers stormed into her life and made her choose. She now works as the Signal Fire Studios intern, dreaming of a future filled with geek glory and a barely live-able wage. Reanne’s duties mostly include wrangling the creatives and forcing them to meet their deadlines to avoid facing her terrifying wrath. She is known to switch between American and English accents while under the influence of Jägermeister or British television.
